1. Who is responsible for your information
TutorSphere is an education matching and content service run by the TutorSphere team. This website is the data controller for the information you submit through it.
Questions, corrections and deletion requests go to:
- Email: rankrise.1234@gmail.com
- WhatsApp: +92 340 0502140 or +92 331 8199105
Please include the email address or phone number you used in the form so we can find your record.
2. What we collect
We only collect what you type into our forms. We do not browse your device, we do not ask for passwords, and no form on this site asks for payment card details, CNIC/ID numbers, national identity documents or health information. Please do not send us any of those.
Find a Tutor request form
Student or parent name, phone number, subject or subjects, curriculum (for example Oxford A Level, Cambridge, FBISE, Punjab Board), city or area, preferred mode (home, online or either), and the free-text notes you add about the requirement.
Tutor application form
Name, email address, subjects you can teach, preferred mode, your qualification and experience details, and the links or text you provide so we can verify your background.
Article comments
Your name, your role (parent, student, tutor or other) and the comment text. Your comment is published under the article you commented on and is visible to everyone.
Write for Us article submissions
Article title, author name, the email address you give us for contact, the niche or category, the article text, and an optional website URL that we may publish as your author link.
Technical information
Our hosting provider (Netlify) and our database provider (Supabase) automatically record standard server data for security and uptime: IP address, approximate country, timestamp, browser and operating system string, and the page requested. We use this only to keep the site running and to spot abuse such as repeated spam submissions. We do not build visitor profiles from it.
3. How we use your information
- To respond to your request — matching a student with a suitable tutor, replying to a message, or reviewing a tutor application.
- To contact you back using the phone number or email address you supplied, about the specific request you made.
- To review, edit and publish comments and guest articles, and to credit authors.
- To notify the TutorSphere team that a new submission has arrived, so it can be actioned quickly.
- To improve our services and the subjects, cities and levels we list.
- To prevent abuse, spam and automated flooding of our forms.
- To comply with our legal obligations where they apply.
We do not sell your personal information, we do not rent it, and we do not use it for advertising or behavioural profiling. We do not send marketing newsletters unless you specifically ask to join one.
4. Cookies and browser storage
This site has no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies and no social media tracking pixels. Nothing is dropped on your device for tracking purposes.
We do use your browser's localStorage for two practical reasons: to keep your own draft and history data working when you use the site (for example the requests and comments made on your device), and to keep the admin account signed in between visits. The keys we use are ts_requests, ts_applications, ts_comments, ts_articles, plus one key named after our database project (sb-…-auth-token) that holds only the admin's own sign-in token.
That stored data lives only on the device and browser profile you used. Clearing your browser storage removes it, and it is not readable by any other website.
5. Admin sign-in
Managing submissions is behind a single administrator account that signs in with Google. When the admin signs in, Google passes through the admin's name and email address so the dashboard can confirm the account is authorised. This is used only for that purpose. Visitors and applicants never sign in, and no visitor data is exposed to Google for advertising.
6. Service providers who process data for us
Our forms and content depend on a small number of trusted providers. Each one processes data under its own privacy terms and only for the function described:
- Netlify — hosts and delivers this website and its files.
- Supabase — stores form submissions and article data in a hosted PostgreSQL database so the admin team can act on them.
- Google (Fonts and OAuth sign-in) — serves our web fonts, and authenticates the admin account. Loading Google Fonts means your browser connects to Google servers, which sees your IP address as part of that normal request.
- jsDelivr — a public CDN that delivers the Supabase client library used by our forms.
- Unsplash — supplies the stock photography used on the site.
- Resend — sends email notifications to the TutorSphere team when a form is submitted, and replies to you from the address you gave us.
- WhatsApp (Meta) — used so we can reply to enquiries. If you start a WhatsApp conversation with us, your message and number are processed under Meta's terms, and our replies come from the TutorSphere business number.
We do not pass your information to these providers for their own advertising or product purposes beyond what each service needs to function.
7. When your information is shared with others
- With the tutor or academy we match you with. To arrange a first lesson, the assigned tutor needs to see the relevant details of your request: your name, contact number, subject, curriculum, area and preferred timings. We share only what is needed to start teaching, not your whole history.
- With our service providers listed above, to operate the site.
- Where we are required to. If a valid legal order, or a genuine safety emergency, requires disclosure, we may have to provide information. We would notify you first unless legally prevented from doing so.
We never share your details with third parties for marketing, and we never publish your phone number or email address on the site.
8. How long we keep information
Tutor requests and applications are kept while they are useful for the purpose they were sent for: arranging tuition, maintaining our tutor panel, and answering follow-up questions. Requests that go cold and applications that are not taken forward are reviewed periodically and deleted when they no longer serve a purpose.
Published comments and articles stay visible as part of the article unless you ask us to remove them or they breach our Terms of Service. Standard server logs are short-lived and are rolled over automatically by our hosting provider.
We may keep a minimal record (for example a name and a note that a deletion was requested) where we need a legitimate reason to remember that we handled a request.
9. How we protect your information
Submissions are stored behind Supabase Row Level Security policies: the public forms can write a record but cannot read any records back. Only the authenticated TutorSphere admin account can read and manage stored submissions. The site is served over HTTPS, and our admin area is protected by Google sign-in restricted to a single approved address.
No website is completely risk-free, so we keep the data we collect to the minimum needed to do the job. Please do not send us anything you would not want a tutor or a staff member to see.
10. Children and students under 18
Many of our students are minors. Because tutoring is arranged by the family, a parent or guardian should be the person who submits the Find a Tutor form and should stay in contact with the tutor throughout. We ask that anyone under 18 uses this site only with a parent or guardian's involvement, and that a parent or guardian contacts us for any data request about a minor. A guardian may ask us at any time to review, correct or delete their child's information.
11. Your choices and requests
Write to rankrise.1234@gmail.com and ask us to:
- Confirm what we hold about you, or send you a copy of it.
- Correct anything that is wrong or out of date.
- Delete your submission, comment or article.
- Stop contacting you, at any time and for any reason.
We aim to acknowledge within a few working days and to complete the request within 30 days. We may need to verify that you are the person you say you are before we release or delete anything. Requesting deletion of a submitted enquiry may mean we can no longer follow up on that enquiry.
If you are not satisfied with how we handle a request, you can raise it with the data protection authority in your country. In Pakistan, the relevant framework is the Personal Data Protection Act; in the EU and UK, your national supervisory authority. You do not need our permission to do that.
12. Where your data is processed
TutorSphere is run from Pakistan, but our providers host their infrastructure outside Pakistan, including in the United States and Europe. By submitting a form you understand that your information will be stored and processed on that infrastructure under the safeguards described above.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site changes. The current version always lives at this page, and the "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest change. Material changes affecting how we use personal data will be announced on the site.
14. Contact us
If anything here is unclear, or you want to make a request about your information, email rankrise.1234@gmail.com or message us on WhatsApp at +92 340 0502140. Read the rules for using the site in our Terms of Service, or get help with a real enquiry on the contact page.
